Personal Experience
Sarah has always had a passion for helping New Mexican families. She has over 10 years of litigation experience assisting vulnerable individuals. Prior to joining Horton Mullins, Sarah was the Victim Services Managing Attorney at New Mexico Legal Aid. In that role, she assisted domestic abuse survivors through challenging court processes including seeking orders of protection, divorce and custody. Upon graduation from law school, Sarah prosecuted domestic abuse cases at the Second Judicial District Attorney’s Office. Her unique experience makes her adept at listening to clients explain their estate planning needs and concerns and coming with solutions to help families plan for their futures.
Sarah has lived in New Mexico since childhood. She graduated from Sandia High School in Albuquerque and attended the University of New Mexico where she received her undergraduate degree in Sociology and her Juris Doctorate. When not working, Sarah enjoys reading silly books, baking, and running around after her toddler and two dogs.
